Kelly Davies murder: Man arrested in Netherlands
Published: 8th Jun 2012 19:16:16
A man has been arrested in the Netherlands on suspicion of murdering a woman who was found stabbed to death in Greater Manchester.
Kelly Davies, 31, was found at a house in Queen's Street, Farnworth on Monday.
The 35-year-old man was held on Friday and a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said they were working to bring him back to the region.
Greater Manchester Police worked with the Serious Organised Crime Agency and Dutch police to secure the arrest.
Det Insp Chris Bridge said the force's "thoughts remain with Kelly's family, with whom we have been in regular contact since this tragic incident".
