Diamond Jubilee parties continue across NI

Parties to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee are set to continue across Northern Ireland on Monday.

These include an old-style tea party at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, a Queen lookalike parade in Lisnaskea in Fermanagh and a concert in Lisburn.

Beacons will be lit this evening, prior to the Queen lighting the National Beacon at Buckingham Palace.

The venues include Antrim Castle and the summit of Northern Ireland's highest mountain, Slieve Donard.

More than 4,000 beacons are due to be lit in the UK and around the world at about 22:00 BST.

The main events to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee include:

Social Development Minister Nelson McCausland and new Belfast Lord Mayor Gavin Robinson will light Belfast's Millennium Beacon at the Lagan Weir on Donegall Quay.

There have many events in Northern Ireland during the weekend to mark the Diamond Jubilee.

A 21-gun royal salute marked the anniversary of the coronation in 1953, at Hillsborough Castle, the Royal family's official residence in County Down, on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Dean of Belfast paid tribute to the Queen during a service at St Anne's Cathedral in Belfast.

Elsewhere, a concert in front of Buckingham Palace in the area surrounding the Queen Victoria Memorial, will also take place later on Monday.

It will include performances from artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John, Jessie J, JLS and Ed Sheeran.
