Police warning over lost emergency rescue flares

The police have issued a warning to the public about a container of emergency rescue flares which fell from one of their boats on Sunday.
The container which is police property and is yellow with a red lid fell somewhere between Larne and Newtownabbey.
The public have been advised not to open it if washed up.
Anyone who sees it is asked to call police immediately on 0845 600 8000.
