Holidaymaker killed in Ingoldmells crash identified

A holidaymaker killed when he was hit by a car in a Lincolnshire seaside resort has been named by police.

Kevin Michael Flanagan, from Buxton, Derbyshire, was walking on Walls Lane in Ingoldmells when he was hit by a grey Fiat Scudo car.

The 55-year-old was taken to the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Lincolnshire Police have urged witnesses to the crash, which happened at about 02:20 BST, to contact them.

This latest death brings the number of people killed on Lincolnshire's roads to 10 so far this year.
