Glen Etive in new James Bond Skyfall teaser
Published: 21st May 2012 11:10:08
Glen Etive in the Highlands features in the first teaser trailer for the new James Bond film, Skyfall.
Daniel Craig, who plays 007, and Dame Judi Dench, who returns as his boss M, can be seen looking into the glen while standing next to an Aston Martin DB5.
Nearby Dalness Lodge, not seen in the teaser, was owned by the family of Bond's creator Ian Fleming and was also used for the film.
The production also shot scenes near the White Corries in Glencoe.
Skyfall, the 23rd official Bond, will be released in cinemas in October.
Dan Jolin, features editor at Empire film magazine, told the BBC that teasers - a short trailer - had become increasingly important to big studios.
He said: "There is so much information getting out now through the internet that it's important for them to filter and funnel the information as much as possible, and have a sense of control over it."
