Social Investment Zones created to administer £80m grants

The Executive has agreed to create nine Social Investment Zones to administer £80m in grants over three years.
The Social Investment Fund is intended to tackle areas blighted by dereliction and poor community services.
Four of the zones will cover Belfast, one will cover Londonderry and four will mirror the health trust areas.
It is understood DUP and Sinn Fein ministers approved the decision, but representatives of the other Stormont parties registered their dissent.
