A woman was punched to the ground before she was sexually assaulted in Greater Manchester, police have said.
The 21-year-old woman was walking along Tanyard Brow, towards Hyde Road in Gorton, Manchester, when two men ran towards her at 14:00 BST on Saturday.
One of them punched the woman while the other dragged her to the bushes and sexually assaulted her.
Greater Manchester Police said the woman suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone in the incident.
Det Sgt Rebecca Duggan, from Longsight CID, said: "When incidents like this happen, obviously it causes concern within the local community,
"However, I would like to reassure the public that we are doing all we can to find those responsible for this crime."
