Man injured in Ardoyne shooting

A 37-year-old man has been shot in north Belfast.

It happened at Brompton Park in Ardoyne at about 15:55 BST on Sunday.

He received two gunshot wounds, one to his lower back and another to his thigh. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Appealing for information, police said they wanted to speak to a man wearing a baseball cap who got into a silver car after the shooting and drove in the direction of Ardoyne Road.
