Children seriously hurt in Campbeltown crash

Two young girls and a teenager have been taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a car crash on the Kintyre peninsula.
The 14-year-old boy and two girls, aged three and five, were passengers in a Vauxhall Zafira which hit a parked Ford Transit van in Campbeltown on Friday.
A 45-year-old female passenger also suffered serious injuries. All four casualties were described as "stable."
The incident happened at about 19:40, on the town's Lochend Street.
The 38-year-old male driver of the car sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The 45-year-old and 14-year-old were airlifted to Glasgow's Southern General Hospital and the girls were taken to the city's Yorkhill Hospital.
Strathclyde Police has asked any witnesses to come forward.
