Victory parade routes revealed for Scottish Cup winners in Edinburgh
Published: 11th May 2012 17:07:21
Hibs and Hearts have announced plans for their victory parades in Edinburgh should they win the Scottish Cup next weekend.
The two teams will clash at an historic all-Edinburgh Final at Hampden in Glasgow on 19 May.
The winning team will then parade the cup in an open-top bus through the city the following day.
For both teams the victory parade will start at 14:00 on Sunday 20 May on the Royal Mile, outside the City Chambers.
If Hibs win, the route to Easter Road will be via North Bridge, Leith Street, and London Road.
If Hearts win, the open top bus will head to Johnston Terrace, Morrison Street, Dalry Road and Gorgie Road, before arriving at Tynecastle.
Fans will be able to carry on the celebrations at a free-of-charge ticketed stadium event.
