West Belfast nursing home to be de-registered
Published: 8th May 2012 23:01:47
A nursing home in west Belfast is to be de-registered, following concerns about the standard of care.
The regulatory body, the RQIA, says they have identified a range of concerns at Owenvale Court Residential Home on the Springfield Road.
These include safeguarding vulnerable adults and a lack of effective management.
The home is run by the St John of God Association. The Belfast Health Trust is investigating the issues.
