Omagh police station bomb alert a hoax

A number of homes were evacuated in Omagh on Monday night after a suspicious package was found at the town's police station.
The item was examined by Army bomb disposal experts and declared a hoax.
Residents were allowed back into their homes late on Monday night.
The station reopened in the early hours of Tuesday and is operating as normal.
