Motorcyclist killed in Wigan crash

A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in Wigan.
The accident happened on Saturday on Hough Lane, Tyldesley, when a Ford Mondeo driving ahead of the bike turned left.
The 47-year-old man, from Astley, was taken to hospital at about 16:25 BST where he died from his injuries.
Sgt Lee Westhead from Greater Manchester Police called it a "tragic incident", and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
