Firefighters tackle Duns grain silo blaze
Published: 6th May 2012 12:33:23
Firefighters are continuing to tackle a blaze in a grain silo in the Borders which broke out early on Saturday.
Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service was called to Charterhall Farm in Duns at about 08:00.
A spokeswoman for the service said the silo contained rapeseed oil, which was still burning.
The firefighters were expected to spend at least the rest of Sunday damping down the blaze.
