Driver killed in Aberdeenshire road accident

A car driver has been killed in a road accident in Aberdeenshire, Grampian Police have confirmed.
The accident happened at about 06:00 on South Deeside Road at Maryculter Bridge.
Police said the vehicle appeared to have struck a wall and burst into flames.
Efforts are continuing to identify the motorist and police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
