15-year-old dies after being hit by car in Donacloney

A 15-year-old boy has died after he was hit by a car in County Down.
The teenager was walking on the Donacloney Road in Donacloney at about 23:00 BST on Friday when the collision happened.
He has been named as David Preece from the Blackskull area.
UUP MLA for Upper Bann, Jo-Anne Dobson, said: "I am deeply saddened to hear of this tragic incident. My thoughts go out to the family and friends of this young boy."
"The community in Donaghcloney, a quiet rural community, will be in shock to hear of what happened in the village last night," she said.
Police have appealed to anyone who was in the area at the time or who witnessed the collision to contact them at Lurgan on 0845 600 8000.
