Curtis Cup artist Lucy Tormey to exhibit work ahead of Nairn event
Published: 5th May 2012 03:54:02
An international golf competition's official artist is to show her work ahead of the tournament being held in the Highlands.
The Lucy Tormey exhibition will be hosted by Nairn Book and Arts Festival and feature works by other artists.
It will open on 6 June in Nairn, just days before the Curtis Cup women's competition starts.
Nairn Golf Club will host the event which is held every two years and contested by two amateur teams.
One team is from the US and the other represents England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Irish visual artist and designer Tormey has previously carried out commissions for the Solheim Cup, another major women's golf event.
