Fifteen face driving licence charges
Published: 30th Apr 2012 18:44:38
Fifteen people have appeared in court charged in connection with an inquiry into an alleged conspiracy to corruptly obtain driving licences.
An investigation focused on a driving test centre in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, and led to 39 people having their driving licences revoked.
The 15 defendants, aged 25 to 54, were granted unconditional bail after a Birmingham Magistrates' Court hearing.
A further hearing will take place on 8 May at the city's Crown court.
No pleas were taken from the 11 men and four women, who are from London, Leicestershire, Manchester and West Yorkshire.
They were charged following a joint investigation between Warwickshire Police and the Driving Standards Agency.
