Two people arrested over drugs find in Airdrie

Two people have been arrested after police found illegal drugs with an estimated street value of £250,000 at a house in North Lanarkshire.
The discovery was made after a search of a property in Roughrigg Road in Airdrie at about 07:45 on Friday.
Strathclyde Police said the recovered drugs included cocaine and cannabis.
A 49-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman are in police custody. They are expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday.
