Fifteen people charged after Nuneaton driving tests probe
Published: 27th Apr 2012 10:55:54
Fifteen people have been charged after an investigation into driving tests taken at a Warwickshire centre.
The charges are for offences including fraud, misconduct in a public office and perverting the course of justice.
"The investigation centred on driving tests taken in Nuneaton and as a result 39 people have had their licences revoked," Warwickshire Police said.
The alleged offences do not involve anyone currently working at the centre, police added.
A man from Nuneaton and 14 other people from Leicester, London, Manchester and Yorkshire will appear before magistrates in Birmingham on 30 April.
Warwickshire Police said the alleged offences were committed before August 2011 and the charges followed a joint investigation it carried out with the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).
