Rio Smedley: Man charged with Bolton toddler's murder

A man has been charged with murdering a two-year-old boy in Greater Manchester.
Rio Smedley was taken to hospital from his home in Cheriton Drive, Breightmet, Bolton, on Sunday afternoon, but later died from a severe abdominal injury.
Daniel Rigby, of Somerset Avenue, Tyldesley, Wigan, has been charged with his murder.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said the 22-year-old was due to appear before Bolton Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
