Jessie J event stabbing: Man charged with murder

A 25-year-old man has been charged with murdering a man died in an attack at an event on London's South Bank attended by singer Jessie J.
Ashley Charles, of Leicester, is charged with killing father-of-two Phillip Sherriff, 37, from Preston, Lancashire, in an attack with a bottle.
Mr Charles was originally charged with attempted murder, but the charge was changed following Mr Sherriff's death.
The attack happened outside Pulse nightclub on 4 April.
Mr Sherriff, a married 37-year-old telecommunications professional, died in hospital on 8 April.
Mr Charles will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on 25 April.
The event was organised by mobile phone firm BlackBerry, with Jessie J performing.
