An inquest has opened on a 23-year-old walker from Greater Manchester whose body was found on Snowdon.
Stuart Tyrer, of Cheadle Hulme, was found on Wednesday by a rescue team at the foot of a gulley at about 2,800ft (850m) on the mountain.
Mr Tyrer, a shop assistant, failed to return from a lone walk, and a search began at 22:00 BST on Tuesday.
His body was found when the search resumed the next day. The inquest at Caernarfon was adjourned on Thursday.
