The death of man whose badly burned body was found in woods in Greater Manchester is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The man was discovered in woods behind Pennington Road in Leigh just before 15:00 BST on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination found he had died from burns and smoke inhalation.

Police said they believed they had traced the man's family, and would name the victim once they had been informed.
