Badly burned body found in woods in Leigh

The badly burned body of a man has been found in woods in Greater Manchester.
Police were called to an area behind Pennington Road in Leigh shortly before 15:00 BST.
Police said they were trying to establish the man's identity and how he had died and said they were in the early stages of their inquiries.
Det Supt Jen Williams said: "I know residents will be alarmed... but I want to reassure the community a thorough investigation is now taking place."
She added: "I would urge anyone who has information that can assist our inquiries to call us as soon as possible."
