Three accused of missing man Paul Morson's murder
Published: 5th Apr 2012 11:41:16
Three men have been charged with murdering a St Helens man who has been missing for nine months.
Paul Morson disappeared after he was seen in Huyton, in June last year.
A 59-year-old man, from Whiston and a two men aged 33, from Liverpool and Huyton, have been charged with his murder.
Mr Morson, 31, was jailed for 11 months in 2006 after admitting supplying a getaway car to the killers of Liverpool teenager Anthony Walker.
Merseyside Police said Mr Morson's disappearance was out of character and despite extensive inquiries, he has not been traced.
Officers have found no evidence he has been in contact with friends, family or acquaintances.
The Renault Kangoo van he borrowed from a friend was found abandoned on the A50 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, on 21 June.
In 2006, Mr Morson admitted perverting the course of justice for supplying the getaway car to Paul Taylor and Michael Barton, who received life sentences for the racist murder of Anthony Walker, 18, in Huyton in July 2005.
