A man's body has been found at a derelict property, sparking a murder inquiry.
Police went to the address on Hospital Street, Wolverhampton, at about 07:35 BST after receiving information which suggested a man had been assaulted.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
The man who died has not yet been formally identified and a forensic post-mortem examination will take place later, police said.
Det Ch Insp Andy Bullman, of West Midlands Police, said: "We are still in the very early stages of this investigation and are yet to fully establish the circumstances leading up to this man's death and exactly how he died."
