Toddler kicked in head by horse in Kidderminster

A toddler is in hospital with a serious head injury after being kicked by a horse in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said the child was airlifted to hospital after the incident near Deansfield Lane in Blakedown at 11:20 GMT on Saturday.

A spokesman said: "Crews arrived to find a two-year-old boy with a serious laceration to his head."

He was treated at the scene and his condition was stabilised before going to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
