The Diary of a Wimpy Kid wins Blue Peter award

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid has been named Blue Peter's best children's book of the last 10 years, beating Harry Potter and Horrid Henry to the top spot.
The comic tale won the online vote from a shortlist of 10 best-selling titles.
US author Jeff Kinney said he was "stunned" adding, "When I saw the terrific books on the shortlist, I thought mine didn't stand a chance."
"I can't wait to come back to say 'thank you' for this great honour in person!"
The story of the hapless Greg and how he survives school beat modern-day classics including Lemony Snicket's The Series of Unfortunate Events: Austere Academy and Michael Morpurgo's Private Peaceful.
Also shortlisted were tales from Jacqueline Wilson, Anthony Horowitz and comedian David Walliams.
London author Gareth P Jones won the book of the year award for his werewolf thriller The Considine Curse.
More than 300 UK school pupils, between the ages of eight and 12, chose Jones's book from four selected titles - including a time-travelling tale, a book of extreme facts and a guide to the 2012 Olympics.
Jones said: "Blue Peter is a national institution which I have watched since I was a child, so this is a tremendous honour."
The awards will be handed out in a special edition of Blue Peter, broadcast live on CBBC from the John Rylands library in Manchester, to mark World Book Day.
