Woman hurt in knife point robbery

A woman suffered cuts to her body after she was attacked by a knife-wielding robber in Leeds who grabbed her handbag and mobile phone.
The 31-year-old was walking along the Leeds Liverpool canal path near the Wellington Road Industrial Estate when the man approached her from behind.
Police said during a struggle, the woman was cut with the knife and needed hospital treatment.
Witnesses to the attack on Thursday are being asked to contact police.
