Pedestrian dies after collision at Pensarn, Abergele

A pedestrian has died after being involved in a collision with a car on a coastal road in Conwy county.
The incident happened shortly before 1800 GMT on Thursday at Pensarn, Abergele.
North Wales Police said the injured pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan but was pronounced dead at hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101.
