Man charged with murdering baby

A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a baby girl on Merseyside.
The seven-month-old child, from St Helens, was admitted to Whiston Hospital on 5 May, but died two days later.
Post-mortem tests revealed she died from severe head injuries.
Merseyside Police charged the man, from the Dentons Green area of the town, on Monday. He is due to appear before St Helens magistrates on Tuesday.
