Hundreds of cannabis plants recovered in Airdrie

Strathclyde Police have recovered more than 300 cannabis plants from a disused building in Airdrie.
Officers made the discovery after carrying out a raid on a building in the town's Greengairs Road on Tuesday evening.
Police said the 320 plants recovered had an estimated street value of £128,000.
They have launched an investigation in an effort to trace those responsible for the cultivation.
