Man, 88, arrested in Isle of Wight murder inquiry

An 88-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after an elderly woman's body was discovered inside a house on the Isle of Wight.
Police and paramedics found the body when they were called to Manor Road, Sandown, at about 0730 GMT.
The house was sealed off while police carried out an investigation.
A police spokeswoman said the man is in police custody and will be questioned. A post-mortem examination of the woman's body is due to be held later.
